Evaluation and Assistance

A/OPE/EAD personnel provide guidance and assistance to all overseas and domestic contracting activities within the Department. 

• We review and approve all solicitations/contracts/modifications that exceed the Contracting Officer’s warrant. 
• We work with overseas posts on managing their workload with Master Buy Plans. 
• We recommend strategic sourcing initiatives and streamlining processes to increase procurement efficiencies domestically and overseas. 
• We liaison and coordinate with other agencies on upcoming changes in legislation, requirements, and capitalize on their procurement expertise.
